Other Fiber Opportunities in and around the Area
While the 2025 WNC Yarn Crawl has 12 official shops, there are many other fiber opportunities to explore while you are in the area. Check our a few of them below, this is a work in progress we hope to update as we can!
Local Cloth Fiberfestival
was one of the hardest hit shops and is not yet able to open at their river arts district location. Check out the Fiberfestival on Saturday May 10 in Arden for a special treat!
Fiberfestival: A Fiber Heritage Event and Artisan Market. This event showcases the work and products of fiber artists and fiber farmers from Local Cloth. In addition to supporting local fiber farmers and fiber artists, there will be fiber demonstrations, food and music, and a clothing swap! Join us for this celebration of fiber and support our local fiber economy. This event is free and open to the public.
